"PayPal" e-mail scam |
| 1) I received the following in my Yahoo Inbox : |
![]() |
| 2) I clicked on the previously shown link |
| 3) My Security Software Blocked the "redirection" to a bad "Phishing" Web site |
| 4) Notice the paragraph under the Hyper Link is backwards. It reads "until You Don't update your information and we can verify your identity." The malicious people that created this bad e-mail can't even get it right. |

| Note: There is no reason for anyone to give out their personal information, passwords, or send out money to anyone! |
If you receive a request through e-mail asking for personal information delete it! For Help - Call the number on the back of your credit card or statement. You can verify any requests with the entity via phone. Note: I've received postal mail asking for my personal information as well which was a scam also. I would recommend finding contact information that you can verify. Examples for verification are: a paper phone book, credit card statement, or the number on the back of your credit card. |
